Bed and Breakfast in Devon

Bed and breakfast in Devon! Trying to find a really good bed and breakfast in Devon? Here it is. Bed and breakfast at Berry Mill House in Berrynarbor is just what you are trying to find. The owners of Berry Mill House, which is a converted 17th century mill, adjacent to the Cobwebs holiday cottage, are Jill and Gerry James. Berry Mill House and Cobwebs are both situated in the loveliest location, within the award winning village of Berrynarbor, North Devon, United Kingdom. Berrynarbor is located in a valley between Combe Martin and Ilfracombe and is a perfect location for the exploration of North Devon's world famous Jurassic coastline or just for seeing the majestic beauty of the Exmoor National Park. If we return to the beautiful village of Berrynarbor for a moment, it is exquisite and is all within easy walking distance of "Ye Olde Globe Inn" which produces very good "pub grub" for lunch throughout the week. As a guest you will have the option of homemade Evening Meals at Berry Mill House. When you find yourself at Berry Mill House you will be spoilt for choice in terms of your holiday plans. What to do? There is so much to do that whether the sun's out, or it isn't, you will find yourself undertaking many different forms of activity and which will bring you back to the same spot year after year. This is a perfect base, and there is so much within easy reach by car. There are so many, many beautiful villages in Exmoor, including Simons bath, Challacombe, Exford etc. all of which are served by the National Trust and which offer the most beautiful sights in the UK! Whether you have children with you, or are just past that age or even well past that age there is a fantastic amount of things to do and see. You can go the beaches all along the coast but particularly the surfing beaches at Saunton Sands, Woolacombe and Croyde Bay, or you can join the very large band of " walkers" who only come to North Devon for that purpose. The South West Coastal Path is a wonderful achievement and walkers will walk it in stages over years to complete it. Walkers are of many hues but they all enjoy the walking as a main piece of fun! The feeling along the walks is mystical and mysterious. You won’t meet many others on these walks and it gives the stressed out and tired is the chance to recharge the batteries before going back to the fray. Many people get hooked on this area and tend to come back over and over again to keep up the that very special feeling you get after a few days down here. So there we are, just a few words from somebody who is lucky enough to live here. Another thing to bear in mind is that it's quite a different experience coming here in winter. That may sound a bit strange but although it might be a bit wet, it is rarely that cold and walking in the winter is so good. You seldom see anyone else and the landscape becomes even more of a spectacle. Take it from me, it's such a great experience with the right kit on, to spent a few hours walking followed by a friendly chat in a local, sitting next to the log fire.
