Bed and breakfast in Devon! Trying to find a bed and breakfast in Devon? Then here you are. Bed and breakfast at Berry Mill House in Berrynarbor. We are located in Berrynarbor, which is in a wooded valley between Combe Martin and Ilfracombe. This is great for exploring North Devon's world famous Jurassic coastline or just for seeing the immense beauty of the Exmoor National Park. The beautiful village of Berrynarbor has a little Post Office and General Store and is all within easy walking distance of " Ye Olde Globe Inn" which produces very good " pub grub" for lunch throughout the week. Of course Jill and Gerry offer homemade Evening Meals at Berry Mill House. When you find yourself at Berry Mill House you will be spoilt for choice in terms of your holiday plans. Look no further; this is the place for you! Of course some people come back to this part of north Devon year after year, and some people have never been to north Devon. To the people who have never been to north Devon I would say that you have such a treat in store for you. The countryside here just has to be the very best that there is, and it's the sheer immensity of the views that you get that are so impressive. If you go further west to say Cornwall the countryside is quite different, it seems flatter and more spread out. Here the land has been so bent and distorted that you always seem to be going up or going down and the countryside is always spectacular. You really do need to have a camera with you; it's just so breathtaking! Mind you, there is also the out of season time here. If you can manage it, why not come down in say November or December? The weather may be wet, but it's never that cold and if you go for a walk suitably attired, what an experience it is in the winter! You won't see anyone else and the true nature of the area is there for you to see. I tend to go out much more in the winter and I really do love that feeling of exertion during the walk followed by the warming up in a lovely local, with the log fire going up the corner. What a wonderful life!
